Very authentic Japanese so not in anyway targeted at foreign tourists. This had it's charms but made the initial communication difficult, though the Nepalese staff who turned up later could speak English. The dinner and breakfast are pure Japanese and are excellent! The Japanese style tatami room with view of mount Fuji was also good.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted in front of the hotel, shown where to park, and our baggage was brought inside and up to our room. Even before stepping into our room, we felt humbled by the absolutely polite, welcoming, and attentive service. Our room had a view of Mt. Fuji—though it was only visible on the first and last days, it was breathtaking. The garden is unbelievably beautiful, and the entire experience was peaceful and relaxing. We felt completely at home and will definitely return. This place is an absolute gem. The only small thing—I wasn’t able to find out which green tea they serve at breakfast, which was so good! ぜんぶほんとうにすばらしかったです！サービスもりょうりもこころがこもっていました。

Wonderful, fresh breakfast; generous spread, as was the complementary ramen in the evening, Very well organized and plesant onsen experience for the guests as well. Location convenient to everything (bus and train station, main sights). Big rooms, nice views, great cleaning service.

The location mostly. It's 5-7minute walk to the Kofu Station. Also, some small self businesses around the area, within walking distance. The lobby is well presented and well taken care of.

Pretty comfortable, beds softer than most Japanese beds we encountered. Very spacious, gave us plenty of space to get our luggage sorted out. Very quiet location in the residential area, so the only thing you hear at night is crickets. You get assigned free parking spot almost right next to the entrance ( the apartment is on the second floor). On a good day, you can see Mt. Fuji from the city, I'm not sure if it's visible from the apartment. Within an hour's drive, there are plenty of great Fuji lookouts. Very nice owner, we were running a bit late with arrival due to traffic and there was no issue with that.
