Wow. We had the most amazing stay. The location, staff and food were exceptional and nothing was too much trouble. Our room with private onsen was quiet with beautiful views of the forest and river. The dinner and breakfast were stunning with so many new things to try and my goodness, we did not go hungry. If you want somewhere to completely relax, this is the place. We really liked the staff. They were so friendly, warm, funny and welcoming. The room was large and we had a lovely outlook over the river and in the morning we were able to book a private onsen. The breakfast was very good too.

The room was clean and spacious with a great view of the river. The hotel owner had good English and very friend. He chatted to us about working for a couple of years in Ireland (our home country) a number of years ago and offered to drive us to the Attack on Titan museum!

The friendly staff. The service and hospitality from the team at Hatago Kayausagi was exceptional. I will remember this stay for the rest of my life and am very grateful for their efforts. The atmosphere. Our room was very peaceful and the private outdoor onsen was fantastic. The meals were delicious and epic. The staff speak just enough English, and were very patient with my poor Japanese.

Very big room, extravagant in fact. I had a open air bath outside the living room. It is my first time trying something like that and I love the experience. I can see the stars at night and hear the river gushing past. Had a dedicated room for meals. Lavish and beautiful meals.
