Kencana Garden is a really beautiful chilled and relaxed family run business which has a lovely big pool and only 8 bungalows. The villas are a nice size, spotlessly clean with a kettle and small fridge, all overlooking the pool. If you have any questions, Komang the owner will be more than happy answer them - he couldn't have been more lovely or helpful. He or his wife are on site pretty much the whole time, so you feel very well looked after. They clearly take much pride in their business. The gardens are stunning, particularly the many bonsai trees around the grounds, which is Komang’s hobby - he tends to them often. When we first arrived here, we thought we were in the middle of nowhere and although it looked lovely we wondered if it was too remote - it is not at all! It is a 7 min walk from Mushroom bay, less if you take the short cut opposite the resort - and if you enjoy exploring, either on foot or by bike - it is the ideal location. There are numerous restaurants in the Mushroom Bay Area. There’s a walking route at the end of Tamarind beach (close to kencana but nothing much there) that will get you to the main Lembongan beach in less than 15 mins. You can also walk to Dream Beach and Devils Tears, which I thoroughly recommend. A cheap cab ride will also take you to yellow bridge so you can visit Nusa Ceningan. We spent 6 wonderful nights at Kencana and could have easily stayed longer.

Arda (the manager) was delightful. She is helpful and efficient. The property had everything I needed.The room is a good size with ac and ceiling fan. The bed was comfortable. The outdoor bathroom is good with hot water. The pool and pool area is great! Absolute value for money.

The guesthouse is very lovely. The staff went above and beyond to help and were very friendly. Ghde and Ketut, were especially very good. They helped me book transport when I was leaving, at good prices. They helped me plan day trips. Gave me lots of advice about what to do, like where to watch sunset and sunrise, where the beaches were located. The room itself is exactly as described and matched the photos. Bed was comfy. Wifi was good. Water pressure was excellent. Breakfast was very nice, but a few more options would be nice. The dinner meals were also very nice and good value for money. Swimming pool area is also a very nice place to relax and cool off. I highly recommend this property.

The room and the bathroom both are very spacious and clean. You also have a bathtub. The hosts are amazing too. Loved everything about our stay. We had breakfast included which was delicious too.

Staying here was an incredibly unique experience and I would highly recommend it. Liz, the hostess, was so kind and generous with her time, taking us on a tour of her garden and teaching us to cook. The home cooked food was amazing, and the accommodation is basic but very clean and comfortable. You wake up to the sounds of the jungle! Everything they do here supports the local communtiy as well, so it's a win- win!

The owner was really nice and even picked us up from the habour for free and organized a motorroller and a boat ticket back from the island. The room was very clean, large and modern. In front of the room is a shared pool, which was also really nice. All in all I would defenetly recommend this accomondation!
