The staff were friendly staff, the hotel is central for shopping amenities and the ferry terminal. It had an entertainer playing accordian on Saturday evening. The breakfast buffet was ample with a selection of hot and cold options, was very tasty! Rooms were tired looking but clean.
Personel was nice, you know what you get with Novotel
The chalet style room was pretty if not quite small and basic though. It was quiet, lovely view. The breakfast was lovely and the coffee was very decent. We went for a wee walk before dinner and we heard a chap playing his accordion. Quite a lovely moment.
It was a really nice stay! We even had a small living room with two very comfortable armchairs to enjoy the marvellous view. Our landlady was very nice and approachable. She even took care of my suitcase arriving early, which was really appreciated. For the two of us, it would have been the icing on the cake if we had found a slightly softer topper in the bed. But that probably always varies according to what people want and need. All in all, we had a great time.
Rooms are clean and comfortable, some rooms with sea views. Elegant breakfast cooked according to individual orders. Good on-site parking facilities.
Everything so spotless and bright! Magnificent sea view from our top floor bedroom. Mine host made us feeling so welcome from the threshold onwards until our departure! Servers were so attentive ready to take orders at afternoon tea and breakfast time. Its USP is Cafe Neuk being part of the guest house! Delicious freshly cooked breakfast chosen from the menu from which we ordered the evening beforehand. Another USP is the front gardens full of blossoms so well nurtured by the proprietress (according to his husband!)
Good breakfast in the Novotel hotel next door. Nice and clean and modern.
Clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful. Fire alarm was activated in the adjoining Novotel hotel at 6.30 am. I was impressed at the professionalism of the hotel staff, getting everyone out and keeping everyone updated. Fortunately we were allowed back in quite quickly after the Fire Brigade had inspected
