I highly recommends staying at the Budget Inn. The owner was extremely nice and welcoming. He allowed us to check in an hour early after driving and arriving early. The rooms were very clean and service was provided each day. The room had a huge fridge and microwave. The hotel had breakfast and the owner gave us recommendations of places in town to hike. The hotel is in a great location, right across the street from CVS and a grocery store. It is only a few minute driver to Watkins Glen State Park. Additionally, the owner called me to let me know that I had left my sneakers in the closet. When I arrived to pick them up, he had neatly placed them in a bag for me. Highly recommend!! :)

Good place to sleep, with a view of the seneca river and close to the vineyards.The staff is very friendly, and the area is very quiet. It is 20 minutes from Watkins Glen State Park, the best park in this area for me.
