Both travellers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help to make check-in quick and easy.

Clean, nice landscaping, great pool and deck area. Really great value for a motel in this price range. Very friendly staff. Much nicer than any comparable properties that we stayed at on our trip. Great coffee machine that made espressos and lattes as part of their free breakfast.
Very clean and quiet. Staff was exceptional. Probably the best Motel we’ve ever stayed at in the US. Great little cold breakfast in the morning which was a bonus!

Finding reasonable accommodations in Ashland can be difficult, especially with the Shakespeare Festival in full bloom. Timbers Inn provided a nice, air conditioned (it was over 100 degrees), clean room for a reasonable cost. When I first saw the reviews on Booking.com I wondered why a budget motel would get such high scores. Now I know. Clean, quiet rooms and very friendly staff make this an above average experience. Note: check out the Morning Glory restaurant 2 blocks away for the best breakfast I've had in all of Oregon.

This place is frozen in time... including the price! We paid $74 for a night including all taxes. Timbers Inn is a well preserved 1950's-1960's motel that is a true throwback to the way it use to be! There aren't many like it still left. It's safe, clean affordable and has everything your parents and grands ever wanted. We can't wait to visit again on our next trip to Ashland. We loved the place!!!
