The Motel its self if great

The reception lady was lovely and gave us a free upgrade as the motel wasn’t busy. 😊 She told us about a place to view the glacier that we never knew about which was stunning.

The Rainforest motel was so much better than I expected. The fellow who check us in was helpful, friendly and gave some great tips. The rooms were warm, with electric blankets!! The night after we stayed in an $890 room and it was not as well equipped. Would highly recommend!

Great location - set slightly outside of town but with wonderful countryside views. Good cycle / walk path by motel. Nice seating area out back of room. Bathroom new and amazing with lots of space and great places for wash bags etc. Good kitchen area and everything one could need. Clean and cosy room for the 3 of us. Easy to access township and great eatery - Betsy Jane as well as Lake Matheson and glacier lookout point.

Fox Glacier is a very small township with a number of motels and the Rainforest was on par with the competition on appearance and location. There is nothing flash about this motel, but it served the purpose as it was clean and cosy.

Wonderful friendly receptionist who freely gave helpful information regarding activities and dining. Plus the Motel had great tourist handouts re sights etc in the area and on the road .

This is a decent motel just on the edge of Fox Glacier Town about 6 kms from Lake Matheson on the road to the Glacier Viewpoint and as a result its location suited us fine. It's handy for the town but we were self catering. There's just enough in the kitchenette to do this successfully but there's only 2 of everything. The room was comfortable, the bathroom adequate - what you'd expect in a standard motel though there were some good quality toiletries to make a bit of a difference. Staff were helpful.

Motel has quite nice localisation, but bit far from the village center and nearest grocery. Free parking. Nice view from window. Room was big, well equipped and clean.
