Very clean room and area. Staff greeting me at the entrance and was so lovely. There were three very comfortable beds and it had all the facilities needed.

Elm Tree is a no-frills accommodation, well suited for our one night stay. That said, everything from service to cleanliness of the room and bathroom to the comfort of the beds (the heated mattress pads were very much welcomed!). Felt bad that I didn't get the name of the lady who assisted with our check-in. We are grateful for her recommendation to book a car ferry from Geelong to get to Philip Island. We had originally planned to drive through Melbourne City. The car ferry saved us much time. Thank you! 😊 Location-wise, Elm Tree also has eating places nearby, including KFC drive-thru right next door. Hands-down will stay here again if we travel to Warnambool!

The staff were so friendly, when we checked in the lady recommended Tower Hill nature reserve a short drive further up the coast as a place to see kangaroos in the wild. It was magical.
