The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful at all times during our stay. We were getting married nearby and the excellent staff went the extra mile to ensure we had a great stay, ranging from leaving origami Swan towls on the bed to setting us aside a reserved table at breakfast in the best location in the orangery and all of their own accord. We also had our wedding dinner in the hotels orangery and they set everything up perfectly. Outstanding is all I can say!

Location is perfect according to price it is cheaper then other places in engeland but quality is great.

Friendly hosts, beautiful scenery and quiet location, easy parking. Good freshly cooked breakfast according to taste. Comfortable room with plenty of storage space.

Mercure is absolutely great, 10 out of 10. What would make it even better, 12 out 10, would be a cleaner pool...

Breakfast was nice, everyone could choose according to their own priorities. Very comfortable beds. Great location in walking distance to all of Canterbury's top points.

The house is lovingly furnished with many small details. Breakfast is freshly prepared for each guest according to their wishes, a place to feel at home.

Canterbury is a touristy place and prices accordingly high. The property was just fine but left much to wish for in terms of comfort and style. However, to be fair it was sort of what we expected. The host was cordial and the rooms clean which is perhaps most important.

Only scrambled eggs were provided at breakfast but they would cook an egg according to my request and quickly.

My wife and I stayed at the Mercure Hotel at Brands Hatch on New Years Eve. The room was large with two large beds. The one we used was clean and comfortable. Wi-Fi was free and seemed to work fine. The breakfast was very good, with a full English and plenty of other options.
