Mercure Hotels in Hannover

We planned to stay for one night, but ended up cancelling another reservation and staying for two more nights :) The room was spacious and clean, the staff nice and helpful and it was very quiet at night. The hotel is close to the U-bahn station.

Great location near the city centre, beautiful building inside and out. Good and clean and comfortable rooms that will make you feel at home!

Good location, perfect breakfast (a bit expensive)

The room was more spacious than it looked in the photos. Our room overlooked a green area, which was nice. When one morning, it snowed, the scenery was beautiful. The bathroom was big, clean and comfortable. Only the wash basin was a bit too high for a short person like me. We were there in December and the central heating worked really well and the room was very warm. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast room was nice and the breakfast had enough variety but could have definitely been better. We would expect a bit more from a 4-star hotel. We stayed there for 3 days and it was always the same breakfast. Still, it was OK. The parking area in front of the hotel was not small but it was not big enough for all the cars, either. When we couldn't find a free space there, we were told that we could park our car in the car park which was approximately 50 meters away from the hotel entrance. That one was really large enough. Therefore, we had no parking problem. Also, the hotel had a closed car park but it was not free of charge so we did not prefer it. The location of the hotel is in a quiet neighborhood and 15 minutes away from Hannover Mitte by car. We didn't like the hotels in the city center for different reasons and preferred this hotel and we were very pleased with our decision. We spent one day in Hannover and went to different towns and cities on other days so being a bit far away from Hannover didn't matter. However, if you don't rent a car, it may not be the best place to stay for you.
