We stayed over for the night in Livorno, because we took the ferry to Corsica, which meant that we had to be there very early. This hotel was one of the few hotels in Italy where we stayed where we could park our car in the garage right next to the hotel (very small, only room for 2 cars). The room was large and the bathroom also spacious and clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Very basic accommodation, but so welcoming and tranquil. Nice views from my window to the garden of the convent and the valley. Very reach breakfast. I felt weird at first as a muslim to be hosted in a convent, but all my doubts disappeared immediately as the father to make the formalities of registration welcomed me so warmly

The room's location was the best attribute of this facility. The view amazing from our window and access to Florence's main attractions in the city center amazing. The roof top bar provided an amazing view of Florence.

There are very few positive attributes about this hotel. Semi-decent coffee in the morning but that is it.

this hotel is exceptional. The registration was easy and very accommodating. There were several sitting areas and one that provided refreshments all day. Our rooms were spectacular and so comfy. Supplies- towels, toilet paper, lotions- were more than sufficient. Breakfast was delicious and had a very varied selection. A short walk brought us to the Duomo and popular piazzas. Restaurants were numerous and nearby.

First, I’d like to say that the owner was amazing. Very kind and understanding and even taught us a little bit about the history and culture of Siena and its contradas! Our room was in a 1,000+ year old building. If you’re a history nerd like me, this is pretty cool and it helps contribute to the overall medieval vibe of the trip. The beds were pretty comfy and the room styled in a medieval design. The location is pretty close to the center too.
