Each room at Hotel Helgeand Wisby is individually decorated with designer furniture in solid wood and medieval-themed interior. All have a work desk and satellite TV. Some also feature a luxurious in-room bathtub. As my flight to Stockholm was cancelled, I picked out this hotel out of the hotel list on Booking.com right after I confirmed with SAS customer service rep that I needed to stay overnight in Visby. To my surprise, the hotel was a jewel. The hotel is in a medieval establishment, and my wife and I enjoyed the setting including such a romantic bed. A hotel reception lady was so friendly and full of hospitality that she gave us breakfast packs of sandwiches, boiled eggs and yogurt. She also made a taxi arrangement so that we could reach Visby Airport in the early morning without a delay, I fully recommend the hotel operated by such good staff.

Kalk Hotel is boutique hotel located on Strandgatan, in a beautiful building from the 17th century, carefully renovated with a stylish interior and Gotland details. There are 21 rooms, all of which offer lovely light, comfortable beds from Jensen and luxurious bathrooms with limestone details from Gotland. The decorations of this hotel are amazing!! Making us feel warm and relaxed. Breakfast is out of my expectation🥰Really enjoy living here, hope we can get back in summer!
