The Motel offers accommodation with free Wi-Fi and Sky Guest Select with over 65+ channels to choose from. All studios have a kitchenette with a small fridge and a bench-top cooking hob or Full Stove with oven. My stay was perfect would recommend if you are in whangarei look for this motel for your stay rooms are very clean the couple who run the facilities are very nice friendly people and if you want a cooked breakfast please ask it is very good.

The location provides an open view of the Bay of Islands and the buildings, and the facilities are relatively new and well appointed like a proper resort. The apartment suite we occupied was spacious with large rooms (bedroom, living room, bathroom, closet & kitchen), and the rooms were very well equipped and clean. Plus, it had an in-suite washing machine and a dryer that were used by us with appreciation. Above all, Tina (the receptionist) was very friendly and helpful, who provided useful tips for sightseeing and graciously allowed us to leave our vehicle in the resort's garage for a few hours after our check-out.

Facilities include flat-screen satellite TV, hairdryers, iron and ironing board. Love the cottage feel. Comfortable with everything needed. It was close to a cute town with places to eat. Host was very friendly and helpful.

The Ash Grove is located in the Bay of Islands, just a 3-minute drive from the Paihia Waitangi waterfront. It offers free Wi-Fi and a peaceful garden setting with a large swimming pool.

All cottages and apartments at Ash Grove Motel open onto landscaped gardens. They are equipped with 32’’ flat-screen. Each has a small kitchen and guest laundry can be found on site. From the moment we arrived we felt right at home. Parking right in front of the apartment, all sparkling clean and so well equipped ... everywhere ample storage space, good bedside tables on both sides of the bed, as well as easy to reach plugs, spacious bathroom with separate WC, good shower, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, quiet room with view to the pool and beautiful garden. You could feel and see that the motel was planned by travelers for travelers! We hope to stay again in the future, and for more than 2 nights. We would have loved to spend more time at the motel and in the peaceful garden and pool. Next time :) Loved it!
