Some apartments feature a spa bath. We loved our stay here. We used it as a base to hike Abel Tasman. We forgot out jackets here and the staff had it curriered to our next place and it arrived there when we got there. Loved the washer and dryer in the suite small kitchen and perfect location. Easy walk to town centre.

Local shops, cafes and restaurants are within walking distance. The owners were very nice, helpful, and friendly. The facility was clean, had all the basics, a pool, and laundry. The location was nice, very close to tahunanui beach. The studio room was simple and clean with a comfortable bed and a nice hot shower. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.

Saxton Lodge is centrally located between Richmond and Stoke, New Zealand, directly opposite Saxton Field. It is only 3-minutes’ drive to Stoke or Richmond, 15-minutes’ drive to Nelson city centre and 30-minutes’ drive to Motueka. Lovely Motel, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was large clean and comfortable and after a long day of driving the room service was a welcome bonus. The available laundry room just topped off a great experience.

The continental breakfast was outstanding. We'll presented. I even got a phone call to check if it was convenient to deliver the breakfast tray to the room. The bed was so soft and comfy. Spa bath was a real treat.
