This is an ideal base for whn you are walking the iconic Abel Tasman track. Everything about this hotel is excellent. The owner of this property is at the reception and is a super friendly and helpful lad. We had reserved 1 one-bedroom apartment and 2 studio units and the owner was kind enough to upgrade all of our rooms to one-bedroom units free of charge. Highly recommended place of stay in Nelson!

Located in the centre of Nelson only 100 metres from the main shopping area, Palms Motel offers self-contained apartments with full kitchen facilities. It also has an outdoor heated swimming pool. Guests enjoy free WiFi. The location is a short walk from the town center, and convenient for our day trip to Abel Tasman National Park. The room was comfortable, clean and roomy with a nice outdoor seating area. Check-in and out communication was clear and the staff were friendly. Parking was convenient.

Arcadia Motel is situated just 3 minutes’ walk from Tahunanui Beach. It has a solar-heated swimming pool and rooms with well-equipped kitchens. WiFi access is free.

The studios and apartments at Arcadia Motel Nelson feature a flat-screen TV with over 50 satellite channels, and a tea/coffee maker. Some rooms offer a private spa bath. Would highly recommend this very well cared for motel which was in a great location and within walking distance of the beach. The owners made us feel welcome and were on hand to offer assistance.The unit we stayed in for 4 days was spacious with a sofa and comfortable extra large bed.
