At the factory, observe the different stages of tea production and sample various types of tea. We had a nice welcome upon checking in, and the instructions given by the front desk were very clear. We also had our own guest relations officer which was a nice touch. The breakfast buffet was pretty awesome, I loved the selection of curries to go with the Sri Lankan breakfast items, and they even had rice congee which was a first on our trip for us. The room was veryyy comfortable and the bed was perfectly firm. There was a slight problem with the blinds in the room when we checked in, but they got it fixed within 15 minutes. I used the gym in the morning and was pleasantly surprised to find barbells available which is great. The equipment is well kept and there is a good variety of machines available. The location of the hotel is perfect if you plan to do some surfing, it's easy to find a surf school just on weligama beach, steps away from the hotel. We used the spa on our last morning there and I had a good experience with the therapist and the booking of the spa session was also very seamless. Overall it was a great experience from all touch points, from the check in, to the in room service, restaurant, gym, spa, and also at check out. It's a five star hotel so of course it's going to be expensive, but worth the price if you want to have a relaxing holiday by the beach.

He made us feel at home and made us the most delicilous breakfast and dinner everyday. The whole staff were super super friendly and welcoming. The pool is really nice and relaxing. 10 mins away from Secret beach which is a walking distance. We will definitely return again. We recommend it 100%. Special place to our hearts❤️

The staff — including the manager — are incredibly friendly, always smiling, and genuinely helpful. They truly go above and beyond for any request. They even prepared a breakfast box for us on the morning we left early for whale watching, which was so thoughtful. Breakfast at the hotel was also delicious: fresh fruits, tea/coffee, and a great selection of dishes. We had dinner one night as well — the seafood platter was super tasty! A lovely stay — highly recommended! 🐬✨

The access to the beach was great with some shacks outside selling drinks with chairs right on the water. The staff was friendly and chef Pradeep offered to make my wife an excellent egg curry which wasn't on the menu.
