The Parknasilla Hotel's sweeping staircase leads past a stained glass window, towards the luxurious guest rooms. The modern and spacious rooms are decorated in light colours and include a TV and free Wi-Fi. Facilities and views are superb. It is a wonderful balance of luxury and a relaxed vibe. The hotel is beautiful We enjoyed walking the trails along the coast and soaking in the outdoor hot tub overlooking the Ring of Kerry. The hotel has many common rooms to sit and relax and take in the extraordinary views.

With a relaxed atmosphere complemented by old style charm and hospitality, the Old Weir Lodge features a spacious foyer and beautifully appointed resident's lounge which provide a comfortable and friendly setting. The staff was amazing and helpful. When we checked in, Linda gave us some recommendations and helped us book dinner (we loved it so much we returned the following night with help from the front desk staff again, I forgot to ask her name, but she was friendly and helpful too). The breakfast staff were inviting and cheery in the morning and the food was tasty and filling. The room was very comfortable. We had drinks in the lounge one night it was fantastic.

The property has mountain and garden views, and is 17 km from O'Connell Memorial Church. When staying at the country house, guests can use private entrance. It’s a beautiful place to stay and enjoy the amazing area of Valentia Island and explore South Kerry. Monica is a very kind and responsive host who made us feel so welcome.

The property is around 24 km from Gleneagle INEC Arena, 26 km from Muckross Abbey and 27 km from Siamsa Tire Theatre. The guest house has family rooms. Late check in... food was serving until 9pm. Room very clean and comfortable

Sea view to die for, beach/shops/pub a short walk away. The owner is welcoming and laid back, a great combination. We got great advice on things to do. Travelled with our old dog who was allowed to stay “at home” while we took the boat to the Skelligs.
