The setting was absolutely beautiful. The grounds are a fantastic mixture of beautifully maintained and wild, with woodland walks that are just stunning. The service was impeccable. Every single person was very kind and thoughtful and anticipated our every need. The castle is gorgeous, especially decorated for Christmas! Every meal we ate was also completely delicious. We are already counting the days until we can come back.

The apartment was cosy, clean, comfortable and surrounded by a beautiful garden. The host, Susan was simply amazing! Dating back to c1810, this ‘Gentleman’s Residence’ has been recently restored to its former glory, and today presents in a classical yet creative style, with impressive art and antique collection. Beautiful clean house full of character . Breakfast was without doubt worthy of a 5 star rating . Friendly professional staff.
