The welcoming "ceremony" was memorable and since we booked a suite our checked in was done in a special lounge area for suite guests. This lounge area is perfectly decorated with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We then got upgraded to Premiere Suite which was superb. One thing we noticed from day one is the present of soothing aromatherapy everywhere in the hotel. Could you let me know what aromatherapy is that? Furthermore the choices of food and beverages are diverse and delicious. We do aware that the food price is rather high but this is worth it since the food and drinks are of high quality. Additionally, given the hotel's location and its 5 stars status the price of the food and beverages are not exorbitant. We love the location and environment of the hotel.. It was an unforgettable vacation for both of us and we are looking forward to come back to Plataran Bromo!

Hosts are very warm and welcoming. Nice little restaurant with tasty food mostly sourced from their organic garden. They gave us a wonderful tour, showing all the foods that they grow on site. They provided us with delicious fruit right off their trees. We also did their private Mount Ijen tour in the morning. No need to go up in the middle of the night in my opinion. The blue flame is not present for the time being
