Request Type : Property Description Nowhere do the stars shine more intensely and the sunrises are more spectacular than on Pilatus Kulm. So close to Lucerne and yet in a completely different world. Spectacular stay - one of the most magical places I've ever stayed overnight. During my visit, we awoke above the clouds to watch the sunrise, and the experience is simply stunning. The room was perfect - comfortable, clean and more tastefully decorated than other mountaintop hotels I visited in Switzerland. Since all food has to be shipped up to the hotel, the quality of dinner far exceeded my expectations and the dining room is beautiful and classic. Staff agreed to an early check-out to allow me to descend on the first funicular run, which I appreciated.
