The room was spacious, quiet (for the most part - occasionally one could hear other guests) and clean. The breakfast did not have a really huge choice, but it made them up quite well with their onsite chefs who made excellent omelets. They had an excellently equipped gym, which I made use of occasionally. It was great that it was open at all hours.

There were beautiful lakes and other sites nearby. Our hostess, Geraldine, was so friendly and an incredible chef. The breakfasts were WONDERFUL and very unique to what we would have gotten in a chain hotel. The rooms were comfortable and each was different from the other with regards to decor. The establishment is very well run and we would DEFINITELY stay again if we return. Highly recommend!

Went to Orford for the eclipse. The Pods were terrific, living up to the ratings by previous visitors. The proprietor was friendly and helped us with any requests we had. There's a nice trail to a Sugaring Shack (about a mile) that we walked; a bit muddy with snow this time of year, but worth going. All in all we had a great time!
