The location was amazing, super close to Abraao by walking to the beach, but also far from the party noises at night. The property itself was beautiful with sea views everywhere. Breakfast was excellent too! It was easy to book transfers and tours through the hotel. Best thing about the location was the boat tours picked us up right at the hotel’s private dock, so we didn’t have to wait in line at the pier with the crowd. We also used their kayak (complimentary) twice and were happy with this amenity. We arrived late the first night and ordered burgers with the restaurant and were pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was. Rental snorkel gear and minibar items were super reasonable prices, they don’t up charge you for your convenience! Staff were all extremely friendly, helpful, and communicative. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone going to Ilha Grande!

Rooms at the Pousada Juliana are bright, with colorful blue bedding and plenty of natural light. All have air conditioning and a TV. Superior suites have a mezzanine floor and balcony with a hammock. Lovely little hotel with the back entrance leading right onto the street directly in front of the beach. Location wise it is unbeatable! The room was clean with really good air conditioning. The breakfast was also really good. I couldn't communicate too much with the staff as I don't know Portuguese but they were all really friendly and smiley so that was nice.
