I loved it all. Karin who runs the guest house is fabulous and so accommodating. The staff were wonderful. It was so peaceful with sheep, guinea fowl and squirrels running around. Beautiful views. Lovely big pool and comfortable sun loungers. It was a perfect few days to switch off and relax.

The service was outstanding, with Megan going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Her warm hospitality, local knowledge, and willingness to assist with anything we needed made all the difference. Whether it was recommendations for wineries, dinner reservations, or simply making us feel at home, she was incredibly helpful. Our room was spacious, beautifully designed, and offered stunning views of the landscape. Waking up to the sight of vineyards and mountains was an experience in itself. The property is immaculately maintained, and the peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. We cannot recommend Sugarbird Manor enough—it’s a hidden gem in Stellenbosch that combines luxury, comfort, and impeccable service. We’ll definitely be back!
