By far the best holiday experience we ever have had. Even before arriving we sensed the incredibly high service. We were contacted by the manager, who arranged our pickup from the ferry pier. Upon arrival, we were served chilled drinks and fruit, with a thorough presentation of the villa. The villa has an amazing view and is situated in a quite place but everything is easy accessible by car. We were able to walk to a nearby supermarket, the beach and a restaurant with Michelin mentions. The service is outstanding. Every morning we were met by Shun, ever smiling and professional, who would play with our baby while we enjoyed the lovely food. When we were finishing our breakfast, the manager Aeng, would stop by to coordinate with us, whether it was arranging things or simply give recommendations. All the housekeeping was tailored to fit nap times and the staff was super flexible and understanding. The chef must be a magician, and the in-house dinning, whether it was light starters or the full set menu, was prepared with excellence and beautifully arranged. Every single staff member, we met were incredibly kind and caring - the parking guard would always greed us and wish us good day or good night, the pool crew and technicians were outmost kind. We were asked about our baby’s troubled skin, and the manager recommended changing the chlorine levels of the pool, which then happened before we could spell swimming. The pool keeper measured the levels every day, and brought back all the swimming toys before we realized they were missing. Lightbulbs were changed in seconds almost before we even realized the light was missing. We tried to cancel our next stay at another hotel to stay another week, but unfortunately had to move on. We discussed whether we should kidnap Shun, because she was the star of our stay, but instead we would rather come back to the lovely place and the incredible people working there.

We had a wonderful time at The Rock Samui! All of the staff were very kind and helpful, gave us tips for trips around and helped us whenever possible. Communication was flawless via WhatsApp and we even had our light breakfast delivered to our villa. The Rock Villa itself is a dream: Vast and architectural inspiring, private pool and rooftop…everything, you could wish for. And the location is also top: You have access to a private beach with coral reefs in close swimming distance. Grandfather’s and Grandmother’s Rock are just around the corner, as well as other sightseeing spots. It was on the south end of Lamai Beach, so it was a little more quiet, but perfect for us as a family. Definite recommendation!

We were a group of 12 friends from Australia and loved our stay at Blue Elephant! Annie and her friendly team went above and beyond to cater for all of our needs. The villa was very clean and had everything we needed. The in house dinner was very special, accomodating for one of our friends birthdays. Communication via WhatsApp was very easy and attentive.

The staff were fantastic, very eager to help and make the stay as comfortable as possible. We asked to move rooms as the people above us stomped around a moved furniture around from 10pm- 4am waking me and my baby numerous times a night. They moved us to a bigger room on the top floor and offered us free late checkout. The room size was great, baby cot was perfect. The breakfast was fantastic, a lot of options. Three different swimming pools, so you can change it up daily. Some people’s comments complained about walking to breakfast and crossing the street, this made me laugh. It was literally a 2 minute walk and someone stops traffic for you to cross the street. Easy peasy. The location was good, close to restaurants, bars and shopping mall. The beds are super comfy! Definitely recommend.

My husband arranged a wonderful birthday surprise with a private BBQ, and the chef's skills were impressive. The breakfast was delightful with a nice view, and it was a relief to enjoy it in the comfort of air conditioning. Our private pool added a touch of luxury to our stay.

As the overthinkers we are, I think we probably researched every single resort within our budget in the whole island. We wanted a perfect ending for our Southeast Asian adventure in a place where we could really wind off and relax after weeks of backpacking. I must admit that to say we couldn’t have chosen a better place would be an understatement - this place is 6 out of 5 stars. We loved every single minute spent in this amazing cottage and we will be back for sure

The food in the restaurant was absolutely excellent. Don't expect street food prices but this is not street food, the chefs are true professionals and the service was outstanding. The room was immaculate and very comfortable
