Pretty, clean, comfortable and spacious place. It had everything I needed for my stay. There is a drying rack to dry your clothes after coming back from a hike and the kitchen is moderately well equipped so you can prepare a meal efficiently.

We loved everything about our stay in Grand hotel Stary Smokovec. It was not our first time there, but it was the first time with our toddler and she had the absolute best time! The staff was super kind and helped us with everything we needed. They also made special arrangement regarding our room - extra bed for no fee and bathrobe and cute slippers for our little one. The hotel is simply beautiful and has great amenities - The spa and wellness is very clean, well organised and super pleasant. Children can play in huge kids room close to the bar so the parents can enjoy coffee, drinks and even food while watching their children having great time. The restaurant was awesome - tasty food and many many options for breakfast, lunch and amazing a la carte dinner. Even special request of our daughter for a glass of milk in the evening was fulfilled! The hotel staff is a team of great professionals. The fact that there is private parking right in front of the hotel and the location of this hotel being in the center of Stary Smokovec is obviously a huge +. You can choose from variety of rooms, we had a junior suite and it was very spacious and quiet with a view from one side on Lomnicky stit and from the other on the sunrise above Poprad. We will definitely come back again!

The property is stunning and very well equipped with everything you can possible need for your stay in High Tatras. Luxurious, cozy and yet so spacious with stunning views. You can tell that a lot of detail and thought has been put into the property. The kitchen was big and everything in there was conveniently located, the dishwasher was useful. The 360 balcony is great as well as the big doors, I can only imagine how nice it can get in the summer when fully open. The walk in shower is amazing after a full day of skiing in the cold which we throughly enjoyed. The lobby has darts, billiard and some games and a bar which was a nice added bonus together with the onsite gym. The skis storage was really useful as it had a heated rail for ski boots. The host Miriam was friendly and very prompt to respond to all our questions. I can only recommend this place and next time we are in Tatras we’ll be coming here again!
