We made a little mistake deciding we'd travel straight to Tauranga after flying for 26 hours, so the extra bus ride of 5 hours really nackered us. So our lifesaver, that is the owner, decided to pick us up from the bus station at night!! We are incredibly grateful for this, so thanks once again to the awesome owner!!

The lodge is clean, quiet, and roomy. The location is perfect for our visits to Hobbiton and Mt. Maunganui. Brendon and his family are very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone who wants to visit the area.

I had the pleasure of staying at Luxury Stay - Parrot Nest and can't recommend it highly enough to anyone looking for comfort and tranquility. Located in an idyllic semi-rural setting in Welcome Bay, this charming private guesthouse is a true haven of peace, nestled in the heart of a beautiful, perfectly manicured garden. From the moment you arrive, you'll be greeted by a warm, peaceful atmosphere. The accommodation is brand new, tastefully decorated and equipped with all the modern conveniences you need for a pleasant stay. The bedding is of the highest quality, the lounge is cosy, and the terrace is the perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee or a glass of wine at sunset. The level of comfort is remarkable: air conditioning, TV with streaming services, an impressive bathroom with rain shower, double basin, bidet and customizable LED lighting - a rare luxury that deserves to be highlighted.
