Luxury Hotels in Kerikeri

It is really a little secluded and though so close to the main street and thus to downtown Kerikeri. You have your own parking right in front of the cabin, which makes it so comfortable to pack and unpack without limitation. Great to have a kitchen and all necessities around. You couldn't really ask for more. Sarah, the host, is absolutely amazing as she tries to help in every way, whether it's for a trip to do or for dinner/lunch possibilities. The one she suggested was amazing and due to my short stay, I couldn't try all of them.

The apartments were ideal for our family stay in Keri Keri. We had been travelling for a while staying in hotel rooms. it was nice for our kids to have a seperate room in the apartment and they slept the best here during our trip. It was nice to have some home comforts as well with the owners adding a box of toys for our toddler and wifi for our teenage daughter.

We liked Bellrock Lodge and this little village so much, we even extended our stay! :) It is worth staying longer in Kororareka Russell and especially at Bellrock Lodge, so let us tell you why: Bellrock Lodge is situated on a little hill (if you walk, there are a few steep meters) and because of that, you will have the most amazing views from your terrace over the coast. On clear days you will even see as far as Waitangi. The apartment and the terrace are quite spacious, even the bathroom offers more than usual space in rental properties. It is very nice equipped. The garden is beautiful so you also see beautiful garden greenery from the terrace. The hosts Catherine and Stuart are very kind and responded fast via WhatsApp. Their sweet dog Piper was also a great host and excited to offer play time with her favorite football and such :D Catherine and Stuart were always very hospitable, so for instance, if you get in a morning rain like us, getting new towels is easy peasy, just a message/call away ;-) The Lodge offers great amendities: laundry, dryer, DVD Library (great selection, we loved it), CD and Book Library aswell... To top it off, the Whirlpool and BBQ area are great, with superb views also. We loved to enjoy the Spa, especially on rainy days. In addition to that, we highly appreciated how thoughtful everything is equipped, there are umbrellas in the driveway, wineglasses from plastic for the Spa, different chairs (even comfy reading/TV chairs), more than 2 different towel sizes and many more things like that.. We have travelled a lot and Bellrock Lodge is one of our favorites. You nearly forget, that you are at a self-service accomendation because everything is so thoughtfully done. It is worth staying longer, you can experience a lot in the area, walk to the beaches from Bellrock if you want to, get groceries and have great restaurants/cafés in town.

November 2024 - We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The apartment was simply perfect: clean, comfortable, warm, and extremely functional. The view was truly enchanting; we couldn’t have asked for better! We were welcomed by Sopha and her father Théo, exceptionally kind hosts. It was a real pleasure to chat with them, and their hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. We will definitely be back without hesitation! Once again, a huge thank you for everything! A lovely apartment with stunning views across the bay. Bob and Margaret were wonderful hosts, providing us with lots of useful information. We enjoyed the fresh fruit which was left for us and the beers in the fridge. It was great to relax in the hot tub at the end of the day enjoying the beautiful views.

Beautiful cottage in a stunning location with delightful hosts

Lovely quiet rural location with great views of Lake Ōmāpere and well located for the Twin Coasts cycle trail. Jeanette is an excellent host who has built a beautiful apartment in a garden setting. She also cooked us a great dinner.
