For me, this apartment is one of the 5 best I have ever stayed in. It beats any hotel I've seen in Cannes, Dubai, London or Barcelona. And for three reasons: 1. the architect really had an eye for technical details. Dimmable LED lights, glare-free staircase lighting, night lights in the bathrooms that switch on automatically and fly screens in front of the windows. Hallelujah! That should become ISO standard. I've stayed in brand new hotel rooms where there wasn't even a power socket next to the bed! 2. the great storytelling about the room (we were in the Gaynor Clayton Apartment). The artist was a former tenant, the brushes and her paint box. Her daily routine and her red hat hanging in the dressing room. How cool! 3. the attention and respect for us as guests. When we entered the room, soft relaxing music was playing (we loved it so much that it was on for a couple of hours), the rooms were aired. Fresh eggs, jam and honey in the fridge and toast. Not much, but great value for us travellers!

Very quiet and private. Location was perfect. Loved the small touches on luxury in the presentation of the room. Beautiful decor. Generous size room. Super soft towels. Luxurious bedding and pillows. Thanks for a memorable stay.

This was a extremely pleasant surprise after a very exhausting 4 week driving tour around New Zealand . Super easy to find and a huge drop off area in front of the main entrance . The staff were absolutely awesome and the free under cover parking right next to the hotel was bonus . Bed was without doubt the most comfortable we had on the entire tour and a superb view of the city and harbour . Should be rated as a 5 star not 4 star as it was , It was that good .

Walking into complete luxury! Hotel was beautiful. The furnishings were stunning, the bed was heavenly beautiful linen, pillows and comfort was exceptional! The bathroom was just luxurious. Everything was just stunning!

The place is tastfully designed and looks classy. Facilities available is amazing - there was a laptop available which allowed me to clear some urgent work, a luxurious spa bathtub, clean microwave, TV with cable and in-room laundry & dryer machine. Real comfortable and highly recommended. Hotel manager was very friendly and helpful as well. Beds also looked clean and inviting. There was also an elevator for our luggages. Location was great, within walking distance to a row of eateries.

It's a beautiful property. Equivalent to some of the best 5 star hotels. The room was immaculate, equipped with top of the range ... everything! The attention to detail in keeping this place in such superb order is clear. The bed was .. of course ..incredibly comfortable. It's well located for access to all shops and restaurants. One of the very best places we have stayed in 2 months travelling around Australia and New Zealand.
