Great place and Super centrally located right in busy Thamel, but in a quiet street. The hotel is truly a hidden gem and although we are right in the center of town, the small lovely garden next to the restaurant, a five star breakfast that is included and the super serviceminded hotel staff makes it a memorable stay at Hotel Jampa. The rooms are great abnd has all the amenities one could wish for, well furnished and there is a new, fully modernised wing. Overall it is incredible that the hotel can offer this much value for money,. and I will definately return to Hotel Jampa on my next visit to Kathmandu.

All staffs are friendly and there to provide any little helps. Check-in and welcome ceremony were impressive. Swimming pool is good size and in a good location, plenty of sitting area in the garden and bar. Also, thanks for fruits basket and cookies. Transport arrangement was also excellent. Food in the restaurant was good and not expensive.

We stayed a couple of nights before and after our EBC trek in the Timber House. The accommodation is very clean, the rooftop restaurant is epic and the staff is incredibly friendly. I would like to mention Ram, the head of stuff (I guess) of the hotel. He really went the extra mile to make us feel at home. He arranged a taxi to the airport, welcomed us very warmly, and kept in contact with us throughout the whole trek until we got back to Kathmandu. We were even allowed to leave a small baggage there meanwhile we were on the trek. Overall, we had a very good experience, and will definitely stay here once again, if I ever travel to this part of the world again.

The hotel is highly recommended every corner is special in terms of decoration and elegance it's typical Nepalese culture.You can take nice photoshoot there if you are photo lover like me lool..It feels you are in a special place and it goes back to old time or vintage time . I have stayed twice at the Maya Manor which stands out for the high quality of decor and facilities in the public areas and the high standard of the bedrooms. Cleanliness, with a warm, welcoming staff which gives you a personalised attention. They remember your requests and likes. The food is great, including the breakfast buffet. We had an enjoyable dinnertime all the four days of our stay. The dinner time staff at the restaurant are also highly attentive, courteous, and helpful.
