We had the most incredible time at Shades, what a treat it was! It’s tucked away in a quiet spot amongst all the incredible nature. I’ve seen so much wild life during my stay there is no need to go for a safari tour. Waking up in the morning to the sounds of the jungle, starting my day with a swim in a beautiful huge pool and a delicious breakfast by the amazing team. Hospitality is outstanding, your every need is anticipated! Food was incredible, great variety and very balanced flavours. Room was so comfortable, I had the best sleep and a phenomenal view. Location was also great, all the beaches are so easily accessible and I enjoyed being away from all the hassle and busyness of the town, returning to this peaceful sanctuary after exploring around. Can’t wait to be back, thank you team!

Everything here was on point..from the crisp linens to the gourmet-style meals and the spotless pool area. You can tell they’ve thought of every detail to make the stay special. Wasn’t expecting this hotel to be as big and beautiful as it was! Our room was stunning - a reaaaally comfortable bed and we loved the wall art. Loved watching the monkeys playing outside the balcony and having multiple pool options for swimming. Staff were lovely.

Absolutely amazing, we stayed for 6 nights, and the stay at Vis ta Vie was the highlight our trip. A very cozy and neat villa, from the exceptional location, to waking up every morning two steps away from the beach to the most amazing hospitable staff. Abeetha, the exceptional boutique manager, and his team made us feel like home the moment we stepped in, Lahiru with his friendly service everyday, and Chef Roshan added to the magic with his outstanding breakfasts & exotic dinners. Absolutely the best place in town.

Simply an absolutely FANTASTIC PLACE. This is the best hotel we've stayed at in Sri Lanka. Beautiful place, incredibly peaceful and relaxing. Full credit to the staff here, who are amazing. They are so helpful and always ready to assist whenever needed. The room is very clean, and the staff constantly check if we need anything or if we want the room cleaned. Great breakfast. The hotel is even better than the pictures. Altso the best bed in whole Sri lanka. This place is highly recommended!!❤️

Very nice and extrem clean hotel. The service is absolutely top notch. Shehan and Gautham were very helpful and did an excellent service. At breakfast you can choose between English and Sri Lankan food. The food is really great. Fortunately, it is not on the main road and therefore very quiet. Anytime again!

Thank you for two unforgettable days! We were a group of five from Germany and Austria, and our stay at Nisala Villas was simply perfect. From the moment we arrived, the staff treated us like family – always friendly, warm-hearted, and attentive to every little detail. It is an amazing villa, with a staff, everyone was super kind and helpful. The place was very comfortable, and not crowded at all in january, sometimes even felt is just for us, but the villa has 8 rooms. Food was also brilliant. The whole beach was very peaceful and clean. If you want to hide away, but be close (20 min with tuktuk) to frequent places, than you find the perfect choice.
