We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Golden Crown Hotel in Ampitiya and was blown away by the exceptional service provided by the General Manager and his team. From the moment I arrived, they went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was nothing short of perfect. Their attention to detail and genuine care for their guests - truly commendable. The hotel itself is stunning, with beautiful views and immaculate facilities, but it was the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by the General Manager that truly made my stay memorable. His professionalism and dedication to providing top-notch service is a true asset to the hotel. Our stay was absolutely incredible. The setting in Sri Lanka’s lush “foliage” is breathtaking, and the way the architecture blends into the landscape is not only beautiful but simply genius. We felt an overwhelming sense of peace from the moment we arrived. The Ayurvedic treatments and wellness programs were life-changing, and the team are so positive and treated us with so much kindness and thoughtfulness. The food was beyond amazing—every meal was filled with such flavour. Santani gave us everything we needed to truly sought to reconnect and release going into the new year. Wonderful small hotel that make us feel like home. Very peaceful and with an incredible view of the mountains. They upgraded us to the suite for free, which was very very good. Very attentive employees. I wish we could have stayed longer!! I highly recommend it!

The rooms are beautifully set apart & are spacious & extremely stylish. They are immaculately clean and every detail has been thought of. The restaurant area is lovely for an early evening drink and the food was amazing. The staff are attentive and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The driver Sarath Kumara was amazing. Our train from Kandy to Ella was cancelled due to a landslide and Sarath drove us all the way in torrential rain. He was courteous and drove so carefully and gave exceptional service!
