This is an eco luxury resort at its best. It’s a family run business that is a reflection of its owners , friendly , very professional and smart staff who look forward to catering all your needs and make your stay the most pleasant possible in a very relaxed manner. They make you feel as if like you were at home while you enjoy the astonishing views from the swimming pool that will stick in your mind for years to come. Nothing can surpass being in the middle of nature. If you can , stay for at least 3 nights to make the most out of it. You can use it as your base for visiting Polonnarawa , Minneriya park and Sigiriya . You can also walk from the hotel to either sigiriya rock or Pidarungala temple. The food is probably one of the best ( if not the best) we had in sri lanka. We stayed for dinner every night, no need to go out. One of the best experiences in Sri Lanka!

Sky Forest Lovely hotel in the forest, away from the noise of the highway. We had a lovely big room on stilts, overlooking the forest. Lots of birds, lots of privacy, super balcony to watch nature passing by. People are friendly, helpful and speak good English. The help in any way they can and organize walks in the vicinity. Meals are excellent.

One of the most tranquil and peaceful stays of our travels so far. Everything about this property was outstanding - the staff and the service , the room which was spacious with comfortable and huge bed , plunge pool and overlooking greenery , spacious and huge bathroom . We had booked the stay which included their Ayurvedic doctor and treatment and it was heavenly. Top notch quality and very peaceful. Note that the Ayurvedic Center closes at 4pm and rightly so. Would advice to choose full board ( breakfast , lunch and dinner) and opt for Ayurvedic food ( if you prefer vegetarian) . The food was clean , light , local and tasty. We also saw a peacock in the morning right beside our room. The team also provided us very good tips on the time we should visit the lion rock ( for sunrise to avoid crowds) and helped us book a safari to the Kaudulla national park which was one of the highlights of our stay. The property is built on over 70 acres and gives you the green , lush, expansive feel. Thank you to the staff - Chandana ( manager) , praveen , Hasitana ( the chef) and the two people who served breakfast. Everyone serves with a smile and a peaceful demeanour . I had also shared that it was my partners birthday ( a few hours before arriving) and they had made such nice birthday arrangements ( balloons , cake , room decor ). We will surely refer this place to our friends and family and be back here for sure .

The staff was amazing. Every need was thought of. The breakfast and dinner buffet were well worth the price. We felt very taken care of. The pool was beautiful. The resort was a good size, not too big, not too small.

Seerock is located a short 15 minute tuk tuk or scooter ride outside the town of sigiriya and provides a wonderful peaceful and calm environment with a stunning landscape and garden. The facilities were clean, updated and very comfortable. The seerock was priced incredibly well for the facilities and service that we received. The restaurant was exceptional, with a wonderful menu that we had both breakfast and dinner at. The Sri Lankan dishes were very very yummy. Most importantly, the staff were absolutely incredible, every single one of them. The staff are so so welcoming, kind, polite and so helpful in coordinating and organising your stay. In particular, Ninesh the manager was sensational. He met us as we checked in and out and ran us through all the facilities and services provided by the hotel. Any questions we had about our stay or any activities he was able to organise for us very promptly, these included tuk tuk rides, hiring a scooter, organising the minneyira safari for us (also joining us on the safari) and so much more. I absolutely cannot recommend this hotel enough for location, facilities, services and definitely the kindest staff.
