irst of all, I like the friendliness of customer service, who happens to have worked in my country, the rooms are clean and have heating, complete kitchen equipment, there are 2 bathrooms with very sufficient and good towels. you can clearly see Mount Fuji, you can park your car, etc.

The hotel is located 3min car ride away from the Kawaguchiko station. You can call the hotel in advance to book a van for pick up and drop-off at the station. From there, the service is excellent, their staff members are so considerate and the hotel is top notch comfort. We got their special Japanese shiatsu massage for 30min and it saved us from all the built up pain from walking for two weeks. Their outdoor onsen is so cute, and public baths are just the right temperature. They also have a foot spa with a view on Mount Fuji! Oh and they have SO MUCH FLOOR SPACE!! We had the most space at Konansou than any other hotel we've stayed at. The amenities provided are plentiful and of good quality. The kaiseki had a lot of food varieties and it was hands-down the best kaiseki we tried. They make the bed for you and their blankets are soooo soft and fuwa fuwa!! It was a great experience and worth every penny.

1. The location is an utter delight situated within 10 mins of walking distance from the bus station & surrounded by breathtakingly beautiful mountains while standing right in front of the majestic lake. 2. The staff will go out of their way to accommodate your relevant needs. For us, one such thing was food. We are a food restricted couple (one vegetarian and one gluten intolerant), we usually carry RTEs with us on our trips. Every night they heated up the curries and without saying provided two bowls of freshly prepared rice to eat with. P.S: Didn't charge anything for the same. 3. The onsens here are amazing - both public (free of cost) and private. Moreover, there is an ample supply of after bath cosmetic products kept for usage of hotel patrons. 4. The rooms provide you with enough supply of kimonos and loose clothing. Patrons usually are clothed in the same, moving around the surrounding area.

It was definitely exceeded expectation from A to Z. - Pick up from Kawaguchiko station: driver was friendly and punctual. - Check-in: handled seamlessly from the moment we stepped down the mini bus. A dedicated staff walked us through all the facilities before taking us to the room - Activities: * Complimentary tea and snack at the tea house overlooking the beautiful garden was great. * Open air onsen looking directly at the fuji mountain was exceptional, even though it was covered by cloud on my day of visit * Dining in our room (i think 9 course meal) was delivious and luxurious * Room: from bath room to bedroom to dining room to private open air onsen, everything was just perfect Love everything about this place. The staff was super friendly, helped us with our luggage to our room, showed us the way to the dining hall, and welcomed and served us so well during our stay. Our room was sooo amazing! We ordered the one with a private onsen, and we did not regret it! The view and the onsen were super worth it. You could see Mount Fuji straight from the sofa corner window, and I recommend waking up for sunrise to see the spectacular morning sun on the mountain! They have everything you need in the hotel, and the complementary drinks are so good too! Not like the usual. After dinner time there is a drum show from really muscular men, then a bingo show (with prizes), and after you could get to the lounge area and hear some live piano music. One of the lounge areas also provides free machine drinks, like beer! There is an open public bath downstairs (so big), massage (didn't try), and kimono rentals. At the rooftop, there is another public bath, but it may vary when and which gender it is available for. But it's REALLY recommended to try/see this, so special front view of the mountain. The garden outside is nice too, you could try the footbath area if you want. Breakfast was great, with many dishes to choose from and super service. The staff are so cute and friendly. One of them started a conversation and even gave us some recommendations, we appreciate that! Not the best with English but we all try to understand each other. They provided free bus rides to the nearest train station and other places for their customers on their way home.

There is shuttle service available at Mt Fuji station for those who do not drive. The place looked great. We managed to have a clear view of Mt Fuji in the morning and it was breathtaking. There was even a brief moment when the Mt Fuji turned pink in the morning during sunrise. The hot spring and shower area looked like a private bathhouse. Food was normal and enough for us, but you can consider bringing additional food and snacks. There were A LOT of free beverages.
