A nicely refurbished apartment in the city centre, close to monuments, pedestrian zones and sights. We enjoyed the space and modern furniture. Soundproof windows isolated the traffic noise effectively from the busy streets. Kitchen is well-equipped. Air condition is effective (3 out of the 4 bedrooms and the living room have separate AC units). Entry is via a keypad-controlled lock (we had an issue with opening the door, but it was resolved by Beatrice, our contact, on the phone). Parking is challenging especially when you have a roof box. We were given tips for garages by the agency, but I managed to find a place nearby on via Scipio Slataper ( I needed a ground space because of the roof box. In the city centre, your best bet is a garage, if you don't have a roof box, but be prepared that in some garage you need to leave the key with the attendant.). Internet is broadband (optical wire) and Wifi is fast in the living room, however signal is weak in remote rooms. The apartment owner may consider adding a wifi repeater ( range extender) in the hallway to improve wireless coverage. Overall a nice and cozy place for our group, kind and responsive contact from the agency.

Everything went smoothly from start to finish. The check-in process was simple, and the instructions were clear and precise. The apartment itself is absolutely stunning — luxurious, spotless, beautifully designed, and full of thoughtful details. Every corner looks like it belongs on Instagram! We were pleasantly surprised to find a bottle of Prosecco waiting in the fridge and plenty of coffee to start our mornings — such a lovely touch that made us feel truly welcome. This flat is a dedication to the poet and writer Umberto Saba (1883-1957), whose statue can be found a few steps away from the apartment block (Trieste pays admirable attention to its authors and the accommodation is a case in point). The flat has been lovingly restored, with impressive attention to detail and, what is more, ambience. It is very comfortable, contains everything one might need (including a washing machine, which is such a boon), it is perfectly located between the station and the old town, close to supermarkets, banks, restaurants, cafes etc., has a nice terrace, and it feels very safe. Davide, the host, was always on hand for any questions and had plenty of good suggestions too. An amazing place, highly recommended.

Fabulous apartman, 10/10. Great location, beautiful, huge, luxury apt, well equipped we've ever been. Kitchen with dishwasher, huge fridge, dish-washing capsules, salt, pepper, paper towel, beautiful dishes, glass cups, etc. Beds are great, very comfy! Blankets, pillows, too. Early check-in was not a problem. The owner is very flexible and always available, replying always within minutes. She has a really great taste to interior design, every small detail, great paintings, chairs, sofa, beautiful bathroom is just perfect, beyond our expectation.
