The hotel is exceptionally placed above Amalfi, with an incredible view of the town and water front. The reception staff were very helpful. They gave us excellent advice for our two hikes. Firstly our hike from the Hotel to Ravello via Atrani, and visit to Villa Cimbrone. Secondly our hike on the Path of the Gods, starting in Bomerano (getting there by bus) and going to Nocelle / Positano (returning by boat).

The hotel is modern, impeccably clean and has amazing views. It’s within walking distance to the ‘Sentiero degli Dei’ (not to be missed) and within short driving distance to the main towns and attractions of the Amalfi coast (with convenient car park). Staff were superb, always helpful and with a smile and, in particular, Salvatore was a perfect host (giving us many great suggestions). Breakfast is top notch, with local delicacies. Also don’t miss out on an evening dinner at the nearby Hosteria Baccofurore restaurant (Michelin quoted restaurant with amazing food and very reasonable prices). There restaurant organises a shuttle service from/to hotel (ask reception), which is a great for a glass or two of wine.

The room was very comfortable, with excellent air conditioning — silent and efficient. The facilities overall were magnificent, and everything was clean and well cared for. Depending on the room, you may or may not have a balcony, so it’s worth checking — having a private balcony really enhances the experience. Breakfast was varied and delicious, featuring local products and some homemade items that added a lovely, personal touch. One of the biggest advantages is the garage: super convenient, inexpensive, and a huge plus on a trip along the Amalfi Coast, where parking is often a challenge. The B&B is in Furore, a bit higher up in the mountains, so getting to the coastal towns means driving up and down the winding roads each day. It’s something to consider if you’re planning lots of day trips. That said, it’s also very close to a bus stop with regular service to Amalfi, which is a great alternative. And again — the dedicated parking more than makes up for the extra drive. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. The atmosphere was peaceful and warm — a place where it’s easy to feel at home.

We had a spacious bedroom with a comfortable bed, an antique armoire, and a dressing table. In addition, there was a large sitting room with a sofa and a view through the expansive windows of the old city centre. Adjacent to it was a sizable terrace with a magnificent view of the city and the bay of Naples. In the city centre, there are several small restaurants with excellent food.

Recommend Well, what a gem of a place this was. We absolutely loved staying in the Villa for 7 days. The host was amazing, and the Villa was perfect. We wanted a place with a view, and wow, did we get it. Perfect place to relax away from the crowded coastline. A ten minute walk to Cetara where you could get a ferry along the cost. The host gave us a trip to Pompeii and then onto Sorrento, which was amazing. Would book again next year.
