The greeting was extremely warmful; prior to that, the staff had arranged the parking and shuttle very efficiently (you cannot park in the Sassi in Matera). In the heart of an amazing town, the hotel is just fabulous (the "caves" have been turned into wonderful sleeping alcoves and rooms), and the staff is always there to help --with a smile! Don't miss it.

The reception and all rooms have been luxuriously and tastefully decorated by our super nice and attentive hosts, Anna and Mirella. The super king size bed in our room was so comfy, perfect pillows and a very nice shower/bathroom. Breakfast was very good and varied. Location was perfect!

The air conditioner worked very well, the room was clean and nice. The owner was very kind. He let us leave our luggage in the room before check in so we didn't have to carry them all day. There was a small fridge in the hall.
