At first we were disappointed in general, before we entered the hotel (far from the sea, behind the road). But then everything changed. A luxurious hotel, garden, pool and service from Nektarios (the owner). We got the best salad in the world I have ever eaten as a welcome, every morning cups of fruit of outstanding taste. We have never experienced such care from the hotel owner (!). An invitation to dinner in a non-touristy typical restaurant, the next day a trip to the mountains for a private party in the middle of nowhere! Nektarios showed us all the interesting places to go. He recommended the palm beach of Vai (the best of all, although there were a lot of tourists, but it was possible, you can climb over the rock and you are alone) and the deserted ones. So swimming in the sea was good in the end. It was an experience like staying with a friend, a friend who loves you. And we thank him (his wife and others) very much for these three days in his beautiful hotel.

The most awesome stay we could have in palaikastro village. Miltos was such a happy and helpful host, showed us around and was there for anything we might need. Our luxury holiday villa was spotless, the pool was absolutely clean as well, private and relaxing.. max 10 minutes walk until Xiona beach and 2 minutes by car. I recommend this villa! Will definitely be back soon!

It was amazing, Mike and his parents are super super friendly. From the moment we arrived until we left we felt very welcomed. Fresh fruits waiting for us, wine, breakfast in fridge. Freshly baked cookies and Raki 😀. And not only once!!! The terrace is amazing with the view and the furniture, good place to relax. It was excactly like on the pictures, we can really recommend this place. Thanks again for everything.

Perfect spotless modern apartment for two over looking the beach. Comfy bed. Amazing Wifi. The owner was gracious and always available, even organised a jumpstart for our rental car on our last day.

such a beautiful place! we stayed as a family with a toddler and baby in Lemonia, the ground flour villa with private jacuzzi, garden, lemon tree, 3 spacious chambers, 2 bathrooms and a lovely kitchen with dishwasher. How much we enjoyed the private outside area, such a relaxing space! The environment is a pure gift; walk 5 steps outside and you’ll meet a beautiful sea, cosy restaurants and bars, but all not crowdy, and awing (my senses could not stop enjoying the cooling breeze, the clear water, the calming waves and the warm sand… such a gift! last but not least; the Cretan people; before I knew it; I was hugging locals, and how lovely the were for my kids, incredible! The South-east Cretans are golden. more golden than any Chrissy Island beach. Special kudos to Romeo, managing Lemonia residents, Greek though in love with Italy and Russia, he showed us the warmest heart, was ready any minute to support, help or just have a laugh.. Lemonia wouldn’t be Lemonia without your passion, love and hospitality! It was a pleasure to be a resident of Lemonia for a week <3 Many thanks! Machteld, Orion, Storm & Dries
