Apart from everything it was lovely to be greeted by both Claire & Mark on our arrival & are happy to assist in any way they can especially with heavy bags. Lovely rooms, guest lounge, breakfast area & garden. Breakfast had a great selection & so delicious - best had on whole 4 week trip across the UK. Gorgeous dogs as well which we loved giving attention to. So close to town & Birks of Aberfeldy so pleased we selected this location to stay at.

Situated in the centre of the highland resort of Pitlochry, The Old Mill Inn is a 5-minute walk from Pitlochry rail station and many high street shops. Free parking is available on site.

We enjoyed our stay in Alyth form the first to the last minute. The guest house (a former doctor's house) has been beautifully renovated and furnished with various design objects, thus creating an unique and welcoming atmosphere. Our room on the 2nd floor was spacious, cosy and quite. Our hosts Graham and Karen did not only provide us with delicious breakfast and unparalleled hospitality, but also with tons of valueable tips for trips around the area. Its those little local tips that you cannot find in any travel guide, but they make your day unforgettable. So we discovered scottish lochs,waterfalls, parks and villages that we would not have seen otherwise. Supported by sunny wheather, we made wonderful experiences and we hope to remember them for a long time. Would like to come back. Thanks for those good days !

Very peaceful, clean and relaxing! It had everything we needed for cooking. It also had a dishwasher, washing machine, we didn’t use these but would be ideal for longer stays. Sauna is good, we got it up to around 70C which was good enough for a sauna in a lodge. It also had a timer that allowed us to set it to be ready and at a good temperature for the morning and night.

The house is extremely beautiful and equiped with everything needed for a relaxed stay as well as pefectly situated for trips into the Cairngorms. We wanted for nothing. Tim is a wonderful host and very easy to reach. He even provided some fruits, teas, coffee, milk, orange juice, bread and butter to get us started - and on top a prosecco as a wellcome drink... Thank you again Tim for your care and hospitality! The Coach House is to be highly recommended.
