Lovely chalet, spacious and excellent views from the terraces. Near to the ski bus stop and ski lift. Useful electrical car charger (need to buy a £24 adapter) next to the parking space . Great stay.

This chalet is fab for a large group, very spacious, with open plan living areas, generous bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, or an allocated one opposite the bedroom. The beds, including bunks, are all adult size too. it has only recently been renovated, so everything is in great condition. The owner is super responsive, and arranged for a workman to attend to an issue we had with the oven immediately. The chalet has lots of hot water, and underfloor heating makes it very cosy. As the chalet is in an elevated position, the views are outstanding. There’s a garage outside where you can park your car for protection from the weather, although ours was too tall with the roof box on. There’s also a large shed for skis etc, however, you can walk from the chalet through a wood (in snow/hiking boots) up to the Vercland Ski Lift, where we left the skis and boots overnight - so convenient. You really need to have at least one car with you, to be able to go to the Supermarket or centre of Samoens, as it’s very difficult, in our case impossible, to get a taxi, despite trying several in the area. There’s quite a steep driveway up to the chalet - our 4x4 had no problems, but a smaller car might, so just make sure you have the necessary equipment just in place. Overall a wonderful stay and we’ll definitely be back.

The owner is super responsive, and arranged for a workman to attend to an issue we had with the oven immediately. The chalet has lots of hot water, and underfloor heating makes it very cosy. As the chalet is in an elevated position, the views are outstanding. There’s a garage outside where you can park your car for protection from the weather, although ours was too tall with the roof box on. There’s also a large shed for skis etc, however, you can walk from the chalet through a wood (in snow/hiking boots) up to the Vercland Ski Lift, where we left the skis and boots overnight - so convenient. You really need to have at least one car with you, to be able to go to the Supermarket or centre of Samoens, as it’s very difficult, in our case impossible, to get a taxi, despite trying several in the area. There’s quite a steep driveway up to the chalet - our 4x4 had no problems, but a smaller car might, so just make sure you have the necessary equipment just in place. Overall a wonderful stay and we’ll definitely be back.
