The location, directly at the Canal du Midi, is beautiful. Garden is nice, with natural looking pool. With only a couple of rooms, very charming. We stayed in the larger room which offered two balconies, one of them being a roof terrace with view on canal and one of the locks. With 40 m2 the room was very spacious and because of the many windows it is possible to cool down the room in the evening (in absence of air-conditioning). Charming and personal touch by owners and our dinner at the Maison was perfect, very high quality of food and wine options. Definitely a great recommendation! City is walking distance (10-15 minutes) and beach can be reached in 20 minutes by car.

Samantha and Miguel made us feel very welcome. We loved the style of the hotel and enclosed swimming pool is absolutely wonderful. Both mornings we were served breakfast al fresco which was a lovely touch. We would certainly recommend anyone looking for a stay in a relaxed beautiful setting to look at staying Le Chai No9.

This B&B is more than luxury. A beautiful winery converted into a guest house with such style and taste. Our hosts, Marie Christine and Dominiquegave us such a warm welcome, so friendly and helpful, with excellent suggestions on where to visit. Every evening the house was filled with fresh baked cakes , same in the morning fresh baked bread, along with so much choice of foods for breakfast. Room was large and airy, fabulous bathroom. The garden and pool, was relaxing and peaceful. Loved our stay there.

This could be the best property we have ever stayed in, in terms of the comfort and quality of the rooms. Everything was gorgeous, the attention to detail was amazing, the staff were welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We arrived very late (partly the fault of our GPS) but there was somebody on reception waiting for us; they upgraded our room to a 2 bedroom so we could access by lift and put charcuterie and cheese platters with bread which was very welcome after a long journey. Good communication put our minds at rest. Breakfast was excellent.

Really charming owner, very polite and attentive , explained all on offer on site, the room was amazing, pool very clean, so relaxing although we were there one day, we would definitely come again.

Where do I start? Communication was amazing, super fast. They welcomed us, so friendly, they showed us the place, told us about how everything worked. The next morning, breakfast, wow, it was out of this world, haha! It was very nice!

A fantastic stay at Villa Monarque – Elegance, style & warm hospitality We stayed at Villa Monarque in Cap d’Agde at the beginning of July, and the experience was absolutely wonderful. The villa is tastefully decorated, every detail is meticulously attended to, and cleanliness is impeccable—a true sanctuary of refinement. Our hosts, Serge and Carole, are two delightful people with a strong sense of style and elegance. Nothing was too much trouble. Their personalized attention made our stay even more special. Carole’s breakfasts each morning were a true sensory experience. Every day, she prepared a delicious surprise (including my favorite, matcha!). One highlight was a Parmesan and bacon panna cotta—one of the best things I’ve ever tasted. But it wasn’t just the breakfast that varied daily and was perfect: the table presentation and décor were absolutely stunning. Every morning felt like being in a “morning paradise.” In short, our stay was so remarkable that we’ll definitely be back next year. Thank you so much, Serge and Carole, for making our first visit to Cap d’Agde so special. Without your care and hospitality, the experience wouldn’t have been the same.
