The style of the hotel is extremely charming, it is a luxury hotel plus perfect customer service/staff. The name expresses the atmosphere. Near the center and spa (walking distance). We also enjoyed the recommended restaurant Die Kleine Printz- delicious experience. We could relax here and felt taken care of.

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Johanna in May for 5 days while attending an event in Karlsruhe. The house had a welcoming entrance with space to remove shoes. It had two levels - downstairs featured a home gym, sauna, rain shower, cold water pipe, and a WC. Outside, the terrace provided breathtaking views of the Black Forest and had a swing to enjoy Bad Herrenalb's beauty. Upstairs, there was a room for two, a bathroom, kitchen, and a spacious living room with a large TV. On the first floor, three rooms accommodated six people, with a gallery area containing an antique desk, a chaise longue, and a balcony. The master bathroom had a large bathtub and a WC. Another stair led to a room under the roof with toys, books, and a balcony. The surroundings were serene, with a nearby river, meadows, and views of the Black Forest. There were convenient dining options, including a tasty Greek restaurant, as well as a supermarket and drugstore nearby. The owners' attention to detail was evident, from the fully equipped kitchen to a set of towels for each guest. The villa was worth the money, exceptionally clean, and provided a relaxing experience. We plan to return next year!

Stay was super good. Property is great, have all you need for live and rest, everything is clean and in good condition, fireplace and barbecue to enjoy. FANRASTIC landscapes and hiking routes. Quiet village to enjoy atmosphere and beautiful nature all around. Host is awesome and very friendly.

The house is amazing—very picturesque and extremely clean. The spaces are well-organized, with enough bathrooms for all the guests. The indoor sauna, shelves full of books, and board games are a lovely touch. We were particularly pleased to find thoughtful items for our toddler, from a crib with a little fluffy bear in it to games, toys, and lots of age-appropriate books. The hosts were very responsive and polite. A bottle of homemade apple juice, snacks for our toddler, and a bag of coffee beans were thoughtful gifts they left for us on the table upon our arrival. I would absolutely recommend this place.
