The location in Beatenburg was ideal for me. Away from the tourist throngs in Interlaken, it was literally a breath of fresh air. The themed rooms boast generous space and lots of features that gave it great value for money. The host Dominic was outstanding. There was nothing too much for him. His service, breakfast of choice and complimentary drinks are all extraordinary. The location of the hotel features some of the most spectacular views of the lake below and the mountains. Simply outstanding.

Property (Krokus - double storey house good for 6pax) is very clean, warm, cosy and has a fully equipped Kitchen. Lake behind property is very beautiful. Owner Matt was very responsive and helpful. Location is very good, has a small supermarket just outside property and 3 supermarkets (Migro, Coop and Avec) a short walk away near Interlaken West train station. Our transfer from Interlaken West to Zermatt was hassle free even with luggage in tow. Free transport bus pass was given as well, transfer via free bus to Interlaken OST to explore Junfraujoch and Mount First was easy. Highly recommended to stay here!

Loved all the kitchen facilities and the apartment was at a really nice location with nice views from the outside and it also had supermarkets nearby like coop and Lidl and the person in charge also took the time to explain to us all the facilities and how to use like the dish washer, dryer, washing machine and she even suggested places we can visit during our stay at interlaken:)

The bus stop for route 104 is right at the door, making it super easy to go anywhere. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Apartment Lauberhorn. The unit was easy to find, and the check-in process was very smooth. The views of the Lauterbrunnen Valley were just amazing and you would be hard pressed to find better accommodations with the views we had from this unit. This unit had its own covered carport space so we never had to find or pay for a place to park. We had a car but if you are not driving, there is a very convenient bus stop in front of the complex. The bathroom was very clean. The shower was huge and worked well. Every appliance in this unit worked well. We were pleased that it was easy to operate the dishwasher, washing machine and dryer in the unit without needing an instruction manual. Most clothes washers and dryers in Europe work very poorly. This is the first place in many places we stayed where the clothes washer and dryer were fantastic! It took very little effort to wash and dry all our clothes. This is a beautiful place and the host was great and responsive! We would definitely look to stay here again if we return to this area again someday!

The female owner was very friendly and spoke easy to understand English, which made me feel at ease. Due to heavy rain, the train from Grindelwald to Interlaken was cancelled, but she was able to show us how to get on the replacement bus, which was a great help.
