Breakfast was extraordinary. Practically a private luxury buffet, which is insanely diverse and high quality, with nice enterior, view and service. I have never had such an exclusive experience, though I am very critical and had been to quite a few places and have written a bunch of rather rude critics. The mansion is absolutely demandingly romantic with lake view, private lake floating platform, relaxing facility and private pier, all in all a dream tale.

We had a great stay at the Boutiquehotel. The apartment looks just like the photos and offers everything we needed. The selling point for us was obviously the terrace and being at the private beach right in front of our apartment, the view of the lake and the surrounding hills. I also enjoyed being able to take their SUP and just go for a paddle around the lake. Overall, an amazing stay, 10/10 would come back, Velden is also quite nicer in person than we initially anticipated.

Nice and modern flat equipped with all necessary stuff. Beside the kitchenware you can find everything to cook, prepare something to eat except for the fresh ingredients. Even cosmetic products, toiletries were available to the maximum extent. We enjoyed the stay and plan to return again in another season.

Experiencing the real Carinthia, off the crowded places at the lake, guests benefit from a luxury spa (scenic sauna, indoor pool), luxurious outdoors (huge outdoor pool), great views and complete silence. I used to stay here often before I bought a house in the area, so I knew what to expect. The single rooms are small but adequate with a small minibar. The breakfast choice is excellent. The staff greeted me like a returning friend though it is over a decade since I was last there. The location is superb, bang in the centre. I have said the neighbourhood was quiet because the weather was bad and there were few people about on my visit. Normally it is thrumming with life.
