This is an overall 'brilliant hotel-chalet' situated in a very beautiful valley of the Vorarlberg State. We have been visiting a lot of family hotels, but this 'Berghaus Schröcken' is simply the best we have ever stayed in. Especially the people working there are so different to other hotels or resorts: they have a smile on their face and you can see that they love doing their job... It's definitely a great place to stay for a family wanting to spend some days in the Austrian Alps, doing some biking, discovering the great nature of the Bregenzerwald...

The whole experience from arrival to departure was fantastic, we ate in the restaurant for 3 evenings, the food was amazing, service was great, you get yummy cake in the bar everyday from 3pm. Room was comfortable. The owners were great, even helped us with our car, as our tyre had a slow puncture.

We had a wonderful two-night stay here. The location is perfect, right in the centre and next to the bus stop. The staff were incredible, from reception to housekeeping, everyone was unbelievably friendly and welcoming. The highlight was definitely the pool, which had three different jet features, plus two great saunas. We had dinner at the hotel one night, and it was delicious. There was a great mix of Austrian and international dishes, at good value. Our room had a stunning mountain view (which isn’t hard given Galtür’s location). The boot room also had room for both skis AND snowboards (a rare find). Would absolutely stay here again!

I really liked the hospitality and the atmosphere of the hotel. The owner (who was every day there) and the staff members were super helpful and very friendly. Even though we arrived very late at the hotel , ( 23:00pm ) and the hotel’s restaurant was already closed they arranged for us some dinner to have at the bar upon arrival. Every night at the hotel was something on . From a live band to a pianist the night after. Every afternoon , they had the fireplace on and you could enjoy a nice warm tea from the wonderful herbal tea selection with a piece of fresh baked cake. Excellent breakfast , with fresh fruits, lots of vegan options , fresh bread and delicious croissants, eggs etc . The room was super clean with bathrobes, slippers, toiletries, hair dryer , coffee machine , mini fridge . The bar place , next to the lobby area was a big surprise. They served very good quality of spirits and very well made cocktails. Excellent location ! Exactly in the middle of the village . Very close to both ski lifts, to shops and restaurants.

Run by the same family since 1926, the Hotel Enzian is located right at the ski slopes, 200 metres from the centre of Zürs. It offfers gourmet cuisine, a spa area, squash and badminton courts.
