Situated at the base of the wild Tsitsikamma Mountains, The Fernery overlooks an impressive 30-metre waterfall in the Sanddrift River gorge. The deck area boasts a cocktail bar and free WiFi is available throughout.
The spacious rooms and suites are individually decorated and filled with light. Some rooms have fireplaces and offer scenic views. The elegant bathrooms have floor heating and heated towel rails.
Wow, what an amazing experience to stay at The Fernery. This is one of the places we will remember for a long time. The setting of the hotel was fantastic. The Jacuzzi and Hot Tub ambiance also fantastic. The breakfast by wide margin the best in South Africa. Dinner was also very good and fairly priced.

Located in the village of Stormsrivier in Tsitsikamma, this bed and breakfast offers traditionally decorated rooms with a balcony. Storms River Guest Lodge features an outdoor pool, and free private parking. We loved the friendly staff , the location of the accomodation was also great, very safe and lots of restaurants in walking distance.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. We got upgraded to the premier sea view suite which was extremely comfortable and luxurious! The views from the lodge are stunning. The buffet breakfast was brilliant, and the facilities (hot tubs, sauna, spa) are great. The forest trails are beautiful. I would definitely come back!

The setting is spectacular. The lodge has a beautiful natural feel, with a lot of wooden features and natural decor. The staff were very helpful. The facilities were excellent. We had a truly wonderful time.

Breakfast was amazing - Staff were very friendly - Lodge is in walking distance from all the restaurants in the village - enough activities to keep the kids busy in the afternoons .

Although it is not a five star lodge, we surely will stay there again. The staff were so friendly. The breakfast excellent. The location next to the highway but it felt like on a farm. I can recommend this place.

Fantastic quirky lodgings in an equally quirky hamlet. Wonderful warm reception at check in and beautiful smiley staff throughout our stay. Bar and restaurant on site which serve good quality produce. In hamlet with micro brewery, great little pizza restaurant (must visit pizza was incredible) and American diner. Lovely central spot for storms river activities

The whole of the old shooting lodges were renovted tastefully to be hotel/lodge accommodation. We liked the lawns, big room & space, plus the garden views
