Zur Alten Mine is situated 5 km outside of Graskop. Guests can walk around the dam in the gardens or hike up to the old mine.

The tastefully decorated chalets are fully equipped and some of them offer views. Each unit comes with a private bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer. The property felt like being at camp back home in Canada. The cabin was very clean and well equipped with cooking supplies. We utilized the Brai twice which was great because restaurants were limited in the area. The walking trails through out the property was wonderful for evening walks. Zur Alten Mine is nicely located to check out the panorama route and other activities in the area. Breakfast was delicious with great homemade baking and jams. The host was also friendly and helpful with suggestions of things to do and driving routes to take. Very well ran business.

From the incredible views, top class breakfast and dinner prepared by the chef, beautiful room (we were given the family room upgrade- spectacular!) and most of all kindness of the Hosts Martie and Ben who were so lovely and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The pool is really nice, sunset views from the water and the surrounding area is great. It has a sunrise viewing area just a few mins walk and then a great walking trail right from the lodge (about an hour walk). Thank you to Martie, Ben, chef and all the team - this lodge is stunning!

I felt very safe and secure there. A delightful bonus was seeing giraffe feeding on the trees so close to the walking path just steps from the guest house door! I also saw a warthog and some impala very nearby the place as well. It was a lovely experience staying here! I loved sitting on the porch watching the sunset and hearing the birds singing in the mornings! The hosts Zelda and George were very kind and made sure I found the place alright. They were also very responsive to my questions and concerns.

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Milima lodge was an excellent choice. I will never forget the staff, specially our guide and the restaurant staff, for its great passion and constant capacity of making you feel special. The location also has to be mentioned. I remember sitting outside our tent in my pijama and just seeing passing almost all big 5. The food and every meal experience were just AMAZING!!

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. It’s hard to pick just one thing we liked, because honestly, this was one of the best stays we’ve had in all our extensive travels. Missing out on a place like this would be a real shame, the accommodation, interior, and rooms were absolutely top-notch. The location was also perfect for visiting Kruger National Park. A big thank you to Ruan and his wife for making the experience even more unforgettable. Do not miss this spot while you can!

Warm welcome, sensational support, assistance is always offered on every topic. The breakfast was incredible - not only was it presented in a first-class manner, it was also super freshly prepared. the atmosphere of the lodge with its attention to the smallest detail is unbelievable! we felt welcome and at home from the very first second - the reality is even better than the pictures suggest! Thank you very much for this great experience - we enjoyed every second and are already looking forward to our next trip to South Africa.

With garden views, Oase by 7 Star Lodges - Greater Kruger Private 530ha Reserve is located in Hoedspruit and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. Complimentary WiFi is provided. We booked Oase as a quick stopover on the way through from Nelspruit to the top of Kruger. We had no clue what to expect, but what we found is difficult to put into words. Enough though we were only at the lodge for about 10 hours, the staff couldn't do enough for us. From start to finish it was truly a special experience. The room we stayed in was apparently their cheapest room, but it did not feel cheap and was above almost every room we have ever stayed in before. The food was also superb - desert to die for! We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a lodge and indeed we have changed out return flights from JNB so that we stop again on our way back and spend more time here.

Vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free options can also be requested. Everything about Little Safari Lodge was perfect. We were looking for a chilled experience and were so happy with our stay. The game rides were exceptional. Robert and Mateo went above and beyond to ensure we had a very personal up close experience. They were just exceptional. The lodge was fantastic. The food was absolutely restaurant quality in taste and presentation. We had to cancel lunch one day as we were so full from breakfast. We saw all the big five and so many more animals in their natural habitat. Just stunning. We will be returning. Thanks for the best stay.
