Private bathroom as part of the tent. The staff is very friendly and you can easily connect with other people during game drive or at the camp fire. Game drives were fantastic! We have seen all the big 5 and our guides Karabo and Floyd are very knowledgeable. We also really enjoyed the food. The star is the braai (bbq) which offers options for meat lovers and vegetarians. I was surprised how good the oxtail was. The starter soups are also amazing. Vegetarian options were also available on request. Potential allergies were requested beforehand. For breakfast my favourite was the omelette, but other options are provided as well. Besides all of this you can enjoy the pool surrounded by birds between your game drives and in the night time, the sounds of the bush (yes we heard hyenas while falling asleep, but no need to worry, all is safe as a fence separates you from the wild animals!). Don’t forget to loop up at night and enjoy the clear night sky full of stars from the entrance of your tent. Brendan has been super useful to assist us with the tour booking to Sabi Sand

Featuring garden views, Masorini Bush Lodge & Safari Tents in Phalaborwa features accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, a terrace, a bar and barbecue facilities. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Really great lodge right next to Kruger. We stayed here only for a night before driving into Kruger the next day, but it was such a good evening. When we arrived we immediately jumped into the refreshing pool and had a chat and a beer with the other people who stayed at the lodge. Then the owners of the lodge prepared an amazing braai for us and we ate together with everyone who stayed there, which was so cozy! Highly recommend if you are looking for a familial vibe and cozy hangout with other travellers.

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. It was pure understated elegance and a wonderful experience. The food and the staff were amazing. Every day was different: outdoor braai, elegant dinner, casual lunch .. etc. We tried Kudu and Ostrich and local dishes like Bobooti. It was lovely. Pool is lovely and overlooking a waterhole where elephants would always gather. Safari drives weee excellent. We saw hippo and buffalo and lions and elephants and giraffes and water hog and rhino and zebra and kudu and impala and baboon and crocodile … only thing we didn’t spot was the leopard. Will definitely come again. Staff were incredible too.

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Incredible location well located in Hoedspruit! Ruan and his family (owners of the lodge) were super welcoming and so friendly. They let their home become ours which was a very personal touch! Would highly recommend!

It has e restaurant with friendly staff and a very good kitchen. The rooms are quite big and the garden around the pool area is just stunning. There is also a three stories high lookout- perfect to enjoy your sundowner. I can really recommend this place

Set 6.8 km from Drakensig Golf Club, the property features a terrace and free private parking. Spent 5 nights at this fabulous lodge. We did a number of full day or half day activities which the proprietor helped to arrange for us and every detail was worked out, ensuring all we had to do was relax and be wowed. Returning to the luxury of the lodge and cooling off in the pool and the stunning grounds was a perfect way to finish off those days. We supplemented the chilling out process with drinks from the expertly curated selection of fine South African wines or beers, spirits and soft drinks. The interior of the lodge and the private suite could only be described as luxurious opulence furnished with many beautiful African artefacts. And as if all of that is not enough we enjoyed ample beautifully prepared and presented breakfasts. We were also privileged to play host to families of nyalas and warthogs who visited the area just outside our bedroom window and patio doors to feast on fallen amarula fruits. Wow wow wow !!!

I want to thank the staff of Maroelani lodge. We stayed may 15-17 and it was a Amazing experiencie. The service, the atenttion, the rooms, the food and the game drives. We had a welcome drink that was so good & also all the wines and cocktails were excelent. It was my birthday and they made it extra special, one of the most wonderful ones. They even sang happy birthday to me with a cake and decorate my room. It was the best service, stay here. You won't regret it. Thank thank you for the incredible stay.
