This place is not about artificial ( and sometimes stupid) over-luxury ; it goes straight to the point of what a great bush camp should be . Tents are very comfy, new and clean , food is above expectations, perfect location. But what makes this place very special is the staff .. they are all incredibly good and make you feel that managing and running a camp in the bush seems the easiest thing in the world ( and we know it is not)… they really deserve a “Bravo!” Safari to kruger ( 15 minutes to reach the gate) included in the rates , and also very close to Sabi sands; they arrange safari there ( try at least once) for a small extra cost . With all this next to your camp, you’ll have the chance to spot the big five and many more animals in very few days. Overall a wonderful stay for newbie and also for weathered safari guys . price/quality ratio 10 on 10… amazing ! Thank you all guys, and see you very soon again!

They let their home become ours which was a very personal touch! Would highly recommend!

Featuring an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, and a shared lounge, African Flair Boutique Safari Lodge offers accommodation in Hoedspruit with free WiFi and mountain views. Set 6.8 km from Drakensig Golf Club, the property features a terrace and free private parking. Spent 5 nights at this fabulous lodge. We did a number of full day or half day activities which the proprietor helped to arrange for us and every detail was worked out, ensuring all we had to do was relax and be wowed. Returning to the luxury of the lodge and cooling off in the pool and the stunning grounds was a perfect way to finish off those days. We supplemented the chilling out process with drinks from the expertly curated selection of fine South African wines or beers, spirits and soft drinks. The interior of the lodge and the private suite could only be described as luxurious opulence furnished with many beautiful African artefacts. And as if all of that is not enough we enjoyed ample beautifully prepared and presented breakfasts. We were also privileged to play host to families of nyalas and warthogs who visited the area just outside our bedroom window and patio doors to feast on fallen amarula fruits. Wow wow wow !!!
