Riverside Guest Lodge offers panoramic views of Grobbelaars River and Swartberg Mountains. It offers air-conditioned rooms and wooden cottages. There is a main deck with a splash pool, a bar, and a barbecue. I booked this for my parents on their way back home after a medical procedure in Cape Town. My mother absolutely loved it. The owner was so kind and helpful, upgraded their room, which was fully kitted out with everything. The bed was comfortable and the balcony had super views.

Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. Breakfast was outstanding as was dinner. Willem was an exceptional host Loved seeing all the game.... they interrupted our dinner which was delightful but it landed up being a bit drawn out after a long days travel.

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Thabile Lodge is truly a special place. Nestled in the rural area of Oudtshoorn, it offers the perfect setting to relax by a beautiful pool while taking in the stunning mountain views. What stood out the most was the impeccable taste of the owners in decorating the space, creating a unique atmosphere and an incredibly pleasant experience. The staff was excellent, with prompt and thoughtful communication. It was my mother’s birthday, and they went above and beyond to make her evening truly special. The dinner served on-site was absolutely delicious, and the spacious rooms, complete with powerful showers, added to the comfort. In summary, this was a unique and thoroughly enjoyable experience. I highly recommend Thabile Lodge and look forward to returning for a longer stay in the future!

Located in the Assegaay Nature Reserve just outside the town of VanWyksdorp, Rooiberg Lodge features an outdoor swimming pool and on-site restaurant all surrounded by the Rooiberg Mountain Range.

Rooiberg Lodge is 156 km from George Airport. The lodge and estate are just beautiful. It was our second visit - may become an annual event! We stayed in a deluxe suite in the Manor House and it was just lovely - very spacious and the views from the balcony were stunning. The food was delicious, especially the steak! Bar service from Passmore and his team was impeccable. The nature drive with Daniel was informative and laidback with a lovely drink stop along the way. The zebra and various book grazing near by the pool at dinner was just magical.

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. The owners were very friendly. Had everything we needed. Bed was super comfy.

It is located in a restored 18th-century building and features panoramic views of the Schoemanshoek Valley and Swartberg Mountain Range. We love the tranquility, the great location and the exceptional standard of the property. The staff of the resort is also exceptional in both service and friendliness. The Su Casa restaurant was marvelous, and our breakfasts was to magnificent!

My one reservation about Sanbona is that they need to make it clear that if you expect to see lots of animals you are at the wrong reserve. Few animals and long drives and not being allowed off the track means few sightings

Set in Oudtshoorn, within 3.2 km of Cango Wildlife Ranch and 4.8 km of Oudtshoorn Golf Course, Duckpond Lodge offers accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning and a terrace. This lodge has a private pool, a garden and free private parking. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Duckpond Lodge! From the moment we arrived, Richard went above and beyond to make our visit truly special. He was incredibly communicative leading up to our stay and took extra care to arrange thoughtful gifts for a special birthday celebration, which was such a delightful surprise. The lodge itself was charming, comfortable, and perfectly maintained. Every detail of our stay exceeded our expectations, and it’s clear that Richard genuinely cares about his guests’ experience. We couldn’t recommend Duckpond Lodge more and will definitely be returning!
