The price is inclusive of breakfast and dinner, and all drinks at the bar! They were very attentive to details, for example packing us breakfast bags for the days we leave for the safari game drives and making sure we always had enough water. The dinner food was also AMAZING, probably was the best on our whole trip

Incredible stay at Mbizi, I truly recommend this place for all nature lover, you will have the bests days in your life. First, the spot is incredible, a peaceful view on the bush, with many animals that you can spot by yourself on the pool or terrasse. Seing the elephants fews meters away from you is really an incredible experience. Then the game drive in the Balule reserve is really beautiful with a lot of differents landscapes that you can admire, Bjorn , the owner of Mbizi will share is knowledge and experience with you, while spotting beautiful cats or others majestic creatures on game drive. Thanks a lot for this knowledge sharing have been able learn a lot! You can also go on a full day safari in Kruger, wich is interesting because the landscape and animals are changing from balule area. Then after a beautiful drive game, you will be able to enjoy a truly delicious food, made by his wife Divya. Each days is a different surprised with many different specialities to enjoy a very nice moment in a beautiful environment. The food is truly the same than in a first choice restaurant. Trust me I'm french 😉 My final world will be a big thanks to this beautiful lodge and teams for this amazing experience! We had an excellent first South African safari experience at the Greenfire Game Lodge. The atmosphere was genuinely friendly and relaxed, The owners Nigel and Carol and their staff are making sure that you feel very welcomed and comfortable. The rooms are actually nicely decorated and comfortable cabins with a deck that is overlooking the riverbed and the bush on the other side. You can spend hours there just listening to the sound of the bush and watch elephants, giraffes and other animals pass by. The food was very nice and varied, the breakfast was great with fresh fruit, yogurt, scones and an assortment of egg based dishes to choose from. Lunch and dinner and wine assortment very nice as well. And finally the game drives.. such an amazing experience!! Our guide Given is such a wealth of knowledge, he transmitted his passion for his work, and patiently and willingly answered all our questions about the surrounding nature, the animals and about South African culture and politics, it was a pleasure to make his acquaintance (we were the only guests for 2 nights, arriving just after the end of the high season, so we had a lot of opportunity to chat during the drives, although the breathtaking surroundings left us speechless at times). Given is an excellent tracker and we had wonderful wildlife encounters. We appreciated his respect for the animals and the environment, we never had the feeling that we were “chasing” the animals and the Green Fire guides don’t drive off-road due to the risk of killing animals and harming the terrain, which was one of the reason we chose this lodge over others. Our stay at Green Fire lodge definitely made us want to go back and spend more time in the beautiful South African nature.

Situated in the Balule Nature Reserve, Muweti Bush Lodge offers the opportunity for wildlife encounters at its waterhole, where elephants and other game come to drink. Our stay at Muweti Bush Lodge was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. Hardus, one of the staff members, was incredible—so kind and thoughtful throughout our stay. He even made us the most amazing ostrich stir fry, which ended up being one of our favorite meals of our entire South Africa trip! The lodge itself is even more beautiful than the photos online. They honestly don’t do it justice. Everything was spotless, and the tented rooms were super secure and well-insulated, making us feel safe and comfortable while still feeling close to nature. The game drives were beyond anything we expected. We saw so much incredible wildlife up close, and every drive felt like a new adventure. Our most memorable moment was watching a pride of lions try to hunt a baby elephant! If you're looking for a perfect mix of comfort, adventure, and genuine hospitality, Muweti Bush Lodge is the place to be. We can’t wait to come back!

Naledi Lodges lies within the Balule Game Reserve and is located 25 km from Hoedspruit. It boasts panoramic views of the African savannah and features an outdoor swimming pool, restaurant and bar. Naledi is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed. The level of quality service was extremely high. They always anticipated my every need and made sure that I did everything that I had set to do there. The facilities were all very thought out, so that you can maximize your experience at the reserve. The room was superb! The animals get really close to the hotel! The game drives, especially the knowledge of the guides (Oupa and Excellent), their spirit, it was truly amazing. I definitely recommend.
